Ananda College Batch of 2006 successfully completed the first tier of its English Language Program for hostel students and a graduation ceremony was held with the patronage of the school authorities and main OBA on the 18th of this month. The event was organized as a part of the first ever English Day to to be held for hostel students of Ananda College, with the intention of recognizing their months of learning under the program.
We would like to specially thank the immediate Past President of AC OBA, Mr. Asoka Devapriya Karunaratne, current President of the AC OBA, Mr. Dushmantha Karannagoda and his team as well the Principal of Ananda College for initiating the project and for the guidance given. A special mention should be made of the the trainer of the program, Mr. Gihan Samarawickrama and our very own batch mate, Tharindu Mallawarachchi and the hostel English program sub-committee, for driving it till the end.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our past presidents Mr. Deshapriya Senanayake, Mr. Lahiru Mendis, and Mr. Thiwanka Lakshitha for their incredible dedication and efforts in making the 2019 Hostel Day program such a memorable success. Their hard work and attention to detail made the day unforgettable for everyone involved.
Our deepest gratitude also goes to the entire committee and all previous committees who laid the groundwork for this event, ensuring that each program upholds the spirit of community and celebration. Their efforts, vision, and traditions have been instrumental in bringing everyone together year after year, and their contributions have set a remarkable standard. Thank you all for your unwavering commitment and for making the Hostel Day Program a great success!
