Every Association shall hold in each year a general meeting called its annual general meeting, on or before a date as specified in its constitution, in addition to any other meetings held in that year.
It is necessary to give notice of meeting to the members as specified in the constitution.
Annual General Meeting being a statutory meeting the agenda shall include among others; tabling and adoptions of the annual report, financial statements together with auditors report, minutes of the previous annual general meeting, election of office bearers, election of Auditors, and matters of which due notice has been given by the members.
Quorum for an Annual General Meeting is also as provided for in the constitution of the Association.
Minutes of the Annual general Meeting should be approved by the General Membership at the AGM and signed by the Secretary and President of the Association.
