Annual General Meeting

Every Association shall hold in each year a general meeting called its annual general meeting, on or before a date as specified in its constitution, in addition to any other meetings held in that year. It is necessary to give notice of meeting to the members as specified in the constitution. Annual General Meeting being a statutory meeting the agenda shall include among others; tabling and adoptions of the annual report, financial statements together with auditors report, minutes of the previous annual general meeting, election of office bearers, election of Auditors, and matters of which due notice has been given by the members. Quorum for an Annual General Meeting is also as provided for in the constitution of the Association. Minutes of the Annual general Meeting should be approved by the General Membership at the AGM and signed by the Secretary and President of the Association.

Annual General Meeting - 2023

27th February 2023 @ 6.30pm

Venue: Centenary Building, Ananda College, Colombo 10.

The Annual General Meeting of the Ananda College Batch of 2006 for the year 2023/2024 was held on February 27th, 2023, at 6:30 PM in the Centenary Building, Ananda College, Colombo 10. There were 44 participants.

During the meeting, the new Executive Committee for 2023/2024 was elected. They are excited to lead the batch and plan for the upcoming year.

We thank the outgoing Executive Committee of 2022/2023 for their hard work and dedication in organizing activities throughout the past year.

The meeting brought together batch members, fostering unity and camaraderie among all attendees.

We appreciate everyone's support in making the meeting a success and look forward to an enjoyable year ahead.
